As well as public meetings, drop-ins, focus groups and planned conversations, Barbara has had lots of conversations with local people going about their daily business. From chatting to Byron Loch, a well-sent face usually on the door step in Princes Street, to Emily, busy cleaning windows or Magda, serving up a delicious bacon butty and cuppa at Driftwood cafe, everyone had someone to say… even if it’s just “I’m perfectly happy with the town as it is”. (Though to be fair, they were much more likely to say “do something about the Pier and the George”!
