Vision & Action meeting
Wigtownshire Rugby Club
Now a regular highlight in the calender, V&A meetings are held every 2 months and have turned out to be vital, lively sessions in the life of the town.
They start with a cuppa, bite and time for a quick hello to others – whether old friends or new faces.
There’s chat about different hot topics… big changes that affect everyone in the town. There’s often a speaker with specialist knowledge asking questions and answering them too.
It’s not about confident voices shouting loudest but about everyone round the table getting a chance to speak.
The session ends with live music.
WHAT’S ON THE AGENDA
- STANCTUARY: Nick Chisholm from the Council will talk about the Black Stank project. This is an area behind Station Street and the hospital that is planned for ‘re-wilding’ – reclaiming nature in a way we can enjoy it more. Find out about the plans and how they might benefit you. Add your ideas about what you want from the Stanctuary.
- CREATIVE STRANRAER: find out about the vision for Creative Stranraer, what we mean to the community, and tell us how we can help more.
- LIVE MUSIC: Graham McPherson
Thanks to Tesco for support with refreshments.
